Cancel Managed Hosting
If you no longer want to use your Managed Hosting service, you can request a cancellation through our support team.
A cancellation is usually only possible if the service has not yet been fully set up or actively used. Active services are normally terminated at the next possible cancellation date.
How to cancel
- Log in to your customer account.
- Open your active services or hosting products.
- Select the Managed Hosting service you want to cancel.
- Create a support ticket with the subject: Cancel Managed Hosting.
- Include your customer number, order number or domain.
- Tell us whether you want to cancel immediately or at the next possible date.
Important information for the ticket
Please include the following details:
- Name or customer number
- Domain or project name
- Order number, if available
- Desired cancellation date
- Whether you need a backup
- Reason for cancellation, optional
Data and backups
Before cancelling, make sure to back up all important files, databases and emails.
After the final termination, hosting data, files, databases and backups may be deleted. Please make sure you have saved all important data beforehand.
Processing
Once your ticket has been received, our team will review your request. You will then receive a confirmation with further information about the cancellation.
Payment notice
Open invoices or already started billing periods may still remain valid. Possible refunds are reviewed individually.
